The team at Lucan Library invite children and their parents/guardians to collect their free ‘My Little Library Bag’. This great new initiative is open to all children who are starting school in 2022. Each bag contains:

• Books on starting school, making friends and being comfortable to be yourself
• A story-card on going to the library
• A postcard that each child can write or draw on and send to their new teacher, or bring to the teacher on their first day of school
• Their very own library card and ‘My Little Library’ cardholder
