LUCAN LIBRARY MID TERM EVENTS

October is the month we celebrate the national Children’s Book Festival with a great programme of workshops and talks at Lucan Library. Check out this month's exciting schedule of events below:

Thursday 13th October, 4-5pm 

BrickFlicks Stop Motion Animation Live Online Workshop

Suitable for ages 8yrs+ (we recommend that an Adult assists setting up the online call). All you need is a mobile device with a camera, a Lego minifigure and your imagination, and you will learn how to make stop motion animation.

Live Online Workshop plus additional access to Video Tutorials, Resources and Offline Activities.

Learn how to move from having a cool idea into an awesome film. On the way, the different parts of stop motion and how it works will be expired. BrickFlicks will share some of the great tips and skills they have learned when making their own films.

Pop-Up Young Adult Bookclub with Eimear- Heartstopper Vol 1 by Alice Oseman. For ages 12+, all welcome.

Return of our regular Arts and Crafts Workshops for Children with Elena Buttner.
